Questions, answered
What is Design Rabbit?
An iOS app for artists, makers, and craft entrepreneurs who want to grow their skills and turn what they make into a real business. Import your own art and photos as the foundation, and use AI to help envision new product ideas, explore variations, and draft your listings. The app builds product plans (materials, costs, steps, pricing), listing kits (title, description, tags, price), and print-ready export files for print-on-demand partners and marketplaces.
Is this related to Craft Rabbit?
Yes — Design Rabbit is the next evolution of Craft Rabbit, our 2024 app, rebuilt around makers who want to sharpen their skills, plan real products, and get them sold. Craft Rabbit itself isn't going anywhere: it's still available today and getting its own ongoing improvements and rebuild.
Is this an AI art generator, or can I use my own designs?
Your own art comes first — this is a core feature, not an afterthought. Import paintings, watercolors, patterns, or photos from your Photos library or the Files app. Originals are stored untouched at full resolution, importing is free (it never counts against your credit allowance), and everything downstream — plans, listings, print files — works identically for imported art. AI is there when you want it: to sketch out a new idea, explore variations, or write your listing copy.
How does the free trial work?
Starting the 7-day trial is subscribing to the annual plan with an introductory offer — cancel at least 24 hours before it ends and you won't be charged. The trial includes 20 credits with the standard model tier. If you don't want to wait, the weekly plan unlocks everything immediately with no trial.
Which image models are included?
For inspiration and ideation: Nano Banana 2 and Pro (both accept reference images), Flux 2 Pro, Krea 2 Large, Ideogram v3 Quality and Turbo, Grok Imagine, and Flux Schnell — the current frontier of aesthetic image models. Premium models request lossless PNG output so your print files start from the best possible file.
What are the print file exports?
Pick a destination — print-on-demand wall art, Etsy listing photos, Spoonflower fabric, or Art of Where — and the app crops your artwork to that destination's ratios, checks each file's resolution against real print sizes, and exports labeled PNGs in a named folder ready to upload.
Does it connect to Printify or Etsy?
Printify: yes — paste your own Printify API token in Account and push print files straight into your Printify media library. Etsy: listing kits are built to paste into Etsy today, and direct listing publishing is in development.
Do I need an account?
No. There are no sign-ups and no logins. Your subscription rides your Apple ID and your creations stay on your device (iCloud sync is coming). We never store your work on our servers.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Design Rabbit → Cancel. Cancelling during the trial means you're never charged.
